Hi my name is Jeremy and I am a recruit with Team Sadistin here in south Cakli i have had my speed6 for about ten months and until aug of last year it was just a daily driver with a couple mods and been to the track a few time then i went nuts and started modding noe it spends 90% of its time in the shop getiing customized and has been in 4 shows and won 2 first place four door catagories and 1 second place mazda at the Sony Xplod world finals and is being shot in a couple weeks for mazda sport mag i hope i am welcomed here be cause i have a million things to do to the car before the photo shoot and im going to need help with a few things ill follow with comments with pics and mod list thanks.
 
here are my mods as of this time but many more are coming in next couple weeks as i get car ready for photo shoot.


Current Modifications-

Interior-

Wet Okole Hawaii Custom covered neoprene seats (black w/silver piping and logos)

Personal aluminum shift knob

Broadway 270mm rearview mirror

Megan gauges (boost, a/f, e.g.t.)(need to install)

Exterior-

M1 Auto Body Custom Color matched body kit lowers and fog light housings

M1 Auto body One off custom center Grill painted and clear coated for durability

Lumar Charcoal Grey widow tint all the way around including windshield strip

Rieger small mesh grills under fog lights

Visual Garage color matched Shark Fin Antenna

Extreme Dimensions/Carbon Creations JDM custom carbon fiber lip/splitter kit

M1 Auto Body one off bracket and installation of lip/splitter kit

M1 auto Body Flat black powder coated behind grills

Custom vinyl graphics containing sponsor names

Fenders rolled

Blue strobe lights on all four corners of exterior

HID low beam headlights

Pia Super White fog lights

Pia Super White High beams

Blue daytime running light bulbs

Blue reverse Bulbs


Engine-

Mazdaspeed Cold Air In-take

Jet Performance CPU recalibration

Mazdaspeed 6 JDM 6 speed center differential and transmission

Mazdaspeed RX8 JDM rear differential and LSD

One off carbon fiber engine cover

All unessential stickers and labels removed

Polished intercooler tanks and other various parts

Internal engine work (ported & polished heads and intake manifold)

Hi pressure fuel pump swapped to meet JDM specs.

Power steering pump, steering box, rack and pinion swapped to meet JDM
specs.

2 blue neon tubes in the Engine

Suspension/Brakes-

Mazdaspeed Sport Line lowering springs 2 front & 3 rear drop


Audio/Video-

Autocar alarm system w/auto up and down windows and pinch detection

Power inverter

HP laptop

Cigular mobile high speed Internet


Wheels & Tires-

18x7.5 Mazdaspeed wheels w/one off flat black powder coating

215/45/18Bridgestone Potenza Reo50a Pole Position tires

Mazdaspeed wheel locks

nice top mount but i was planning on front mount wouldnt that be better i live in so cal. and when u sit in traffic it gets hot and when its time to go its hot from engine heating it up.

There will not be a front mount for the speed 3/6 for a long time. Many companies have tried and all have failed so far.

The TMIC is the only option right now that works.

Nice car btw. Hopefully more speed 6's will come forward and show theirs off.
 
ROTM = Ride of the Month.

A monthly pole we Mazdians hold to see all the Mazda hottness.

If you look on the main page of the forums you see Rush as our last winner. There is a thread around here somewhere were people are already signing up for the next ROTM winner.

You mainly see Protege's so a Speed6 will change things up a bit.
 
Realize that with the plastic cover over the outside of your stock top mount intercooler, the ducting underneath the hood no longer creates a seal to the intercooler so you are losing some of the air being directed to it. I know you polished the endtanks and all but that can only be hurting the performance. how much though.. probably not a whole lot.
