ah 03 cobra..........As soon as I get a new job, I'm buying one. I want to keep one, all orginal and take it out for a drive in 2040!

Congrats, it's almost too easy to make big power with them (usa) My previous 03 made 500rwhp with a handful of boltons

Probably paid too much if you got it at carmax. I hate that place

But I do love 03 Cobra's. Nothing sounds better then a Ford motor w/ straight pipes. They got that loud raspy sound that a chevy motor can't make (although the guy down the street from me w/ the 6.0L GTO, that thing is quiiiccckkkk)

So basicly you got two cars that are money pits for performance upgrades? lol. Atleast your stimulating the economy.

Is that what you ran in your... because that seems a bit high for 500whp
Mostly low 12's high 11's and under 120mph. That's more like 600whp territory.

Unless it's gutted

ur cobra made 500whp on bolt ons? uh wow. i raced a cobra with a headerback intake and i dont know what else. it was loud though i thought it was built when i heard it. ill post a vid of me beating it on youtube there pretty chill but 500whp wow the guy i raced must of sucked

Ok 499+ see dyno
Mods were ported Eaton (oe supercharger), pulley for about 16psi, K&N intake kit, larger maf, no cats mid-pipe, cat-back exhaust, and dyno tuned.

shane, maybe you're at altitude? I'm at 600' asl. My car ran 12.40's/117 with 420rwhp on stock tires. I had nothing removed except most of the gas, 1/8 of a tank or so. I used ET Streets at the track with all the mods. Around here, 600rwhp (that's over 700 at the motor) in a Mustang will put it deep in the 10's at over 130mph with traction and decent driver. 9's with weight reduction, drag suspension and no mercy

BlackMica, if you don't already have one, you might look at a diff brace from Billetflow or something similar. The best piece of advice I can give is if you start to wheelhop get the f off the throttle. The IRS can be a weak link and it hates wheelhop

How ironic... The termi is my ALL TIME favorite car EVER made! I would own one if I didnt have to pay such a premium to get one. An 04 (even some 03's) with 15-35k miles are selling for 22-25k!

BUT... I found out about a raffle in ohio at a YMCA that is raffling off your identical car....

A 2003 hard top termi with like 16k miles on the odo! Tickets were like 1 for 10 or 20 for 100... I put 100 into the pot! They only sold 5,000 tickets so my chances of getting pulled are one in like 250. Pretty good odds if you ask me!

The drawing is tomorrow... I will be sure to let you know if I get to be the proud new owner of your matching termi! I would love to mod a termi out as a weekend/track car and have an MS3 as a DD :)
