T'was the Nightmare before Christmas.
And all around the house, every creature was stirring, even a grouse.
Bill was so busy trimming with glee, all of the cactus planted around the front tree.
He was hanging lights here, he was hanging lights there.
Hanging them high, high in the air.
He was hanging them far, he was hanging them near.
He ran out of lights, so he hung up a deer.
Then came a girl, Lexi her name.
"She asked of her father,,,
"Was it a bother, to hang up the deer, the deer by the rear, so high in the sky, way above my eye."
Bill answered dear Lexi. Without hesitation.
"I'd hang it much higher if only I could." "But Mother would hit me with a big stick of wood."
So the deer hung bright with all of it's lights.
And Bill and Lexi were heard to say so polite,,,
"Merry Christmas to all, and all a good night"
