and i just saw that dyno on XXtuning and your car is real sick man i looked at your cardomain page i love it it looks sweet as hell and its obviously quick lol sorry to treadjack but i couldn't resist lol. Hey you gotta swing over to the Manchester/south windsor/east hartford area so i can take a look at that car in person lol

His car is junk................hahahha

Found them!!

OK here we go. The first sheet is my baseline dyno. My first two runs were in 3rd gear with the air conditioning accidentally left on (blue and green line) and the 3rd run was in 4th gear with the a/c off (171 whp 171 torque). TurboMag made 166whp with the same mods as my baseline (ie. iON FMIC + CAI). I'm not sure what their torque was, but here's that article http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0403tur_mazda/ . The second dyno is with the exhaust and EBC. I made 194whp at stock boost with the exhaust - 23whp gain. TurboMag made 186.1whp - a 22whp gain with the addition of the iON exhaust. Then at 9psi I got 213whp (and again they got 210whp at 8.8psi). So on one hand I guess you're right in that the 91 vs. 93 octane isn't a huge difference, but a difference nonetheless. The second dyno sheet is hard to see though, but if you compare the conditions, it was 83.92 degrees farenheit when I dynoed the second time, versus 70 degrees for the baseline. Also, we only used one small fan for the runs from the second dyno sheet, vs. two of the small fans for the baseline (might not have made much of a difference but that was the case).
All in all when I have the manual mode completely figured out I'll head back to the dyno, as these runs were in auto mode. Stay tuned for pics and another day at the dyno.

Dyno jet dynos tend to dyno higher than others......

Yeah I know, and I figured that's why the numbers are different in comparing mine to TurboMag, but my before and after number differences aren't too far off theirs.

Yes but as I said a diff dyno = diff numbers, there are many other thigns to factor in too, if it wasnt done in the exact same temps elevations etc etc you cant compare the dynos.

Yeah, but I for one wasn't about to sit and wait for the exact same ambient temps, humidity etc. to do my second run. And since the second run was done is less favorable conditions compared to the first, it would seem to make sense that the gain is even more substantiated.

dead weight in the trunk is alot different than 200lbs spread out around the car. 200lbs equals about .2sec off your time, thats not a whole lot.
.2sec can mean the difference between winning and loosing

haha word. Ill say 200whp...........
I have personally witnessed a MSP with Apex DP, Thermal 3 inch catback, DSM AFC, Hi boost FMIC, MBC set from 8 to 9 psi (gear dependant) dyno at 214 whp.

i'm running a similar setup right now. I have begi fmic, injen cai, 3"GHL, dsm afc, and running 8 to 9psi.! I am going to do a baseline run to see where i'm at and then put on the ported polished intake manifold. I bought the manifold from Cwill , he had it on his P5 when he set the record time. Maybe it will bring my msp good luck ha ha!! ya right(headbang)

i believe stock evo's are 220 at the wheels

I think they may be a little higher. My friend has on e with a 3'' tb exhaust and ran a 12.5. They are quick. His fourth gear is mean

I can't believe I just read 4 pages of ppl bitching about numbers.

Larone- car sounds like its turning into a nice lil beast. Enjoy it!
