My recent upgrades

91 and 93 octance isnt a huge difference and will not affect your horsepower much if any at all. Also think about the dyno they used(some read high some read low). Also take into consideration temperature and elevation all of that is going to impact how much power the car makes.

reflash+2.5" catless dp+SMIC+short ram intake+SP2 exhaust+9.5psi = 210whp (dyno-proven). Our friend here has better mods than that.
 
Personally i think you got ripped on the parts. ION perf. is a major rip off for the performance/price. But anyway the car sounds nice and good luck stomping those evos.

I hear you. Personally though I don't think I got ripped at all :). I buy what I see is the best for my car, and I'll likely be going with iON's standalone too. As a matter of fact, if they make a part I want then they're the ones I'll buy it from. The quality IMO is worth it, and I have no qualms about how much I spent. Thanks though.
 
I call BS on that 210whp. I have full 3 inch exhaust all the way bitches no 2.5, larger injectors, unichip, FMIC no SMIC, at 9psi i put out 230whp. O and by the way neversober is right before tunning I only had 190whp. Right there I gained 40whp. There is no way someone with the mods listed in the begining he has over 200whp. Tuning is a must on our car once u do mods. Without tuning our cars suck the big problems is voltage in our MAF sensor but Im not getting into that. Read the forum before you make statements neversober has how many posts he knows what he is talking bout.As for the dyno sheets if you want to see them go to www.xxtuning.com click on dyno sheets Im on there.

Well if you call BS on the 210whp TurboMag got from their project MSP at 8.8psi (with the exact same mods I have for the most part) then I'm not sure if anything car convince you. I posted the link to their article with their dyno sheets.

As I stated earlier all dynos dyno differently, some will dyno much higher than other will. That 210whp on a different dyno could quite possibly be 190whp maybe lower.
 
That same magazine also got rid of the car because they said what? That they thought they reached the limits of the car....well there are quite a few proteges putting down alot more power than their car did.

Well that's certainly true, not to mention variances in the environmental conditions at the time of the testing...

Not sure what type of Dyno was used, but it was tested on Jackson Racing's dyno in Huntington Beach, CA. They went from 153 whp to 210whp and 147wtq to 208wtq at 73 degrees Farenheit, with barometric pressure at 29.88 in.HG, and a humidity factor of 63.

and i just saw that dyno on XXtuning and your car is real sick man i looked at your cardomain page i love it it looks sweet as hell and its obviously quick lol sorry to treadjack but i couldn't resist lol. Hey you gotta swing over to the Manchester/south windsor/east hartford area so i can take a look at that car in person lol
