Big Basin Redwoods State Park is about 1 hour north of Santa Cruz on Hwy 236. This is the spot where we have most of our weekly drives. (I dunno who that guy is, I found the pic on the web)

It's about an hour and a half up Hwy 1 from Monterey.

yea next november. my report date to the defense language institutue is like 10Nov04 or something close to that. ill be busy all the time studying a new language but i should be free on the weekends. the great thing about the army is here ive met all the good guys from DFW, then ill move to AZ and get to meet some of the cool people there, and then on to california and possibly NC after. ill have met most of the active members of this board lol!
