My Nighthawk

I can't remember if I've posted my motorcycle on here before.. I finally got a chance to take it out of storage a few weeks ago, and take my girlfriend riding... My digital camera died, again, so I had to scan in a regular picture... The sissy bar was installed and removed the same day, as I only use it when my girlfriend rides with me. It's a 1991 Honda Nighthawk 750, 12,000 miles... Jet kit, and stock pipes drilled and gutted... I have a Vance and Hines w/4 into one header, but I've almost decided it's too loud now...
The gear on the bike is my g/f's Joe Rocket jacket and HJC helmet we got a few months ago.

Anyways, just figured I'd throw it out here... I know it's not a crotch rocket, but it's still served me well since 1996 ... (Also, 12.2 in the 1/4 mile isn't THAT slow though in my opinion. )

nice cb750, yeah don't let the crotch rocket guys get on you for that bike. i've ridden a few of em and they're no slouch. just drop two teeth from stock on the rear sprocket and you can hang with some of the 600's. i've actually been looking into getting a nighthawk or a bandit 1200s just depends on which i can afford and when i can sell my virago i've got now.

Your bike is very nice! Clean!!! I'm one of those crotch rocket guys and I would never "get on you" for what you ride...Hey as long as you ride right?!
I think 20ESGUY means to ADD 2 teeth on the rear and not drop...Usually you want to only drop on the front (no more than one-too hard on the chain) and up the teeth on the rear...dropping the rear would make it slower off the line with a little more top end..adding teeth on the rear = more fun off the line!!! but you might top out at 140mph instead of 150?? (or whatever your bike will do?!)

sweet bikes.....I think all bikes are cool so I'll never get on anyone....there's so many different tastes and types of bikes....if it's clean and you like it then it's all good. While we're posting I might as well throw mine out there....here's my old 2000 Aprilia Mille and my 2003 R6...then just for kicks I posted my next bike....the new 2004 Aprilia.......oooooooooh!!!!!

Your a pretty big lad..(more like giant...lol) how do you manage on the tiny R6?

thanks for the kind words.....I'm drooling over that new Mille too. The R6 is actually pretty roomy as far as sportbikes go so It's not too bad.....the only thing that sticks out is my head....it goes out over the front fairing so I have no hope of tucking under it. I get MAD headshakes down the straights at VIR
