I see, is there anyway to get a 4 point harness that'll pass @ track days? Thanks.bill harvey said:its fine to use them on the auto-x but on the street use your stock belt. when they come out of the cak of the seat they go down towards the floor too much the angle is so that in a crash your shoulders are pulled down and your spine could compress and break itself. i know guys from the bmw club who use them for auto cross but they won't pass inspection for a track day atleast they shouldn't.
yes but you will need a harness bar that runs behind the seat so you can mount the harness to it higher than if it was hooked into the stock rear belts. just find out what the rules are with the club that you want to run with with your mods. that way you save money on stuff you can't use. believe me i was not happy when i found out that i had to wear a fire suit in the summer when i had my subaru. but that was for time trials only the schools don't really class your car.conekiller said:I see, is there anyway to get a 4 point harness that'll pass @ track days? Alright, cool. LAST QUESTION (I promise!) Can you link me to a harness bar for our cars? Right now I'm thinking get the TRS's, a good 4 point harness, and a harness bar. This way I don't run into any problems in the future, and I'm going to take the protege on the track, so I'll want a harness that passes tech. Thanks for all of the great info!bill harvey said:yes but you will need a harness bar that runs behind the seat so you can mount the harness to it higher than if it was hooked into the stock rear belts. just find out what the rules are with the club that you want to run with with your mods. that way you save money on stuff you can't use. believe me i was not happy when i found out that i had to wear a fire suit in the summer when i had my subaru. but that was for time trials only the schools don't really class your car.

try www.ioportracing.com look at the rollbars and cages, just when you do the install take pictures of how you boulted them in and keep them in the glovebox so tech inspectors can see if they think it isn't safe enough.

Im looking into getting some seats.
Also Sparco doesnt make a braket for the MSP? I really really like the Sparco seats, especially the new Monzas (sp). Thanks for the help, and the seats look amazing.
