MY current speeds setup dyno

It's a mechanical system. When there's enough pressure to open the wastegate it opens. I fail to see how the gear you're in is effecting that. I see nothing like that on my car.

well considering that you have to cut 2 wires and put the afc in the middle im prety sure its working or the car would not drive at all, i know for a fact cus the first one i got was DOA and the car freaked out
 
You need to tune that sucker. You've got alot of horses that want to be released if you could lean it out. Nice numbers though given your richness.

yes im boosting 10. besides that the only thing we have diffrent is he has a after marked SMIC and turbo hoses Hard pipes while i have some cheap Hard pipes and stock SMIC. at the time of my dyno i did not have AFC. i need to redyno it and tune it then im done.

just because your car did that does not mean his is wrong, what is the trim on your turbo? what a/f's were you running? what were the temps?

a T3 at 6psi, depending on the turbo setup that turbo is barely spinning and will probably produce less hp than the smaller T25, now if both of you were doing 15psi then I could understand it because the bigger turbo should produce more hp then

as for you pulling again, it could be the driver skill :)

anyway I think the numbers could be right :)
 
true, really im just baffled. its a standerd turbonetics T03h (T3). nothing impressive. old school non ball bearing, nice kick once it spooled though. doubt it was the driver he had the jump. maybe it is all the way it seems, im just a skeptic andi have to see to believe.. nudge (ride along......)
 
yeah sometimes more hp does not mean its faster though either, so its possible he has more hp but your car is faster

thats why people tune by the butt dyno instead of the dyno sometimes :) lol

personally I think dynos are overrated anyway
