but what about when you accelerate up a hill a wee bit to fast, they fall out, which has happened to me, cupholders work just fine, so does the armrest

i put my change in my pocket, unless i'm driving pantsless, then I have to improvise.

Haha, I think I have OCD too. Vacuum every little nook and cranny every time. And I get a weird sort of satisfaction out of reformatting my computer ... every 2 months.
