Yup, a year ago today I stole my baby from the dealership. Becuase it was an 02 (7 miles on the odo before the test drive) in Feb of 03 I got a KILLER deal. 15.3K out the door with 6disk, Chrome wheels, sunroof, abs, side impact airbags, mirror/compas. I am so damn happy I got this car, and to this day I do double and triple takes when I leave it in a parkinglot or in my drive way. A year later (and thanks to the divorce which allowed me to spend my money on what I wanted to) I have done a bit (not as much as Id like cause divorce is expensive) of modding. I now have 3.5 Mazdaspeed Racing Hart Wheels, 03 Mazdaspeed Racing Beat exhaust, DaveB brushed rings, shaved side moldings and aluminum pedals. I have more coming soon but everything I do to the car makes me love it more and more each day. Someday soon I hope to take it off Daily Driver status and make it the hobby car with an Hiboost turbo Install. Until then I'll just keep on loving my ride!
I wonder if all car makes make their owners proud enough to look back two or three times or if it's just a Mazda thing..
