Why don't you get a front lip? I think it would cover it and your car would look a lot cooler.

it probly won't stay because i don't think the filler will stick to godd plus the plastic flexes alot while driving/unlike fiberblass or metal that can be bonded together just my .02

I thought front lip from either autoexe, dgm or any other replica attaches from the bottom of the bumper...hmm...

oh no~!!! :'( ...

new bumper $200 $ paint job $150~300...
damn it!!!!

You can fix it, but it won't stay. Whenever you drive your car it will always vibrate no matter what. Eventually it will loosen any work done and break again. You're much better off getting a new one. Unless you could find a decent one from a junkyard or another owner. You could even put a mintblue kit over it.

If you want to dish out the money, here's what I would do. Remove the bumper cover and carefully fuse the torn parts back together from the back with a soldering iron. Then reinstall the bumper cover and apply some touch up paint. You will still be able to tell it was damaged, but it won't look quite as bad. Plus you won't feel as bad if another rock hits it.

hmm...not bad idea...

money money money, show me the money!!!

400 is too much, but yeah it is fixable, I used to work at a bopdy shop, it will need some plastic welding, and a little putty filler, very minimal, but very fixable. Can't say I know how much it should cost, I just know 400 is too much,

IT CAN BE FIXED!!! It can be plastic welded back together, sanded down smooth and look just like a Brand New bumper. Plastic welding is simple, most important part is prep work. A plastic welding kit can be baught, which should include everything you would need. Let us know how you fix it...Later,

Even if you body fill it and "plastic weld" it, it will still flex and eventually break again. It would be a temporary fix to be sure...

ABS (like PVC) is a thermoset plastic. Once it takes shape from the [injection] mold, it will not revert back.

no, it isn't a temporary fix, I'm sorry. welding fuses material together, making it as one piece, if done by a professional automotive technician, it should be good as new. Just because I say putty filler, I don't mean fill a damn hole with bondo. The putty is only to make the finished surface smooth as glass, ready for paint, the filler never being more than a 1/20th of a centimeter thick.

It won't break off.

People who are saying this are ignorant people who think that if you have a ding in the door that you need to get a new one to replace it.

Face it, it can be fixed. My friend had a much worse damaged and it was fixed for $50, but not painted.

It should be less than $100 to fix it and then paint it.

You can also look at car-part.com maybe there is a yellow bumper somewhere close to you....

Just put some damn fiberglass and resin on the back of it sand the botch smooth and call it a day.

The bumper plastic. It sure as hell sould as the last time I saw someone spill it there was a new bumper in the customers near future :D

::ducts tapes NH's head, nails a wooden speaker ring to his face, and fiberglass' him:: Head over to paint as you dry, would you?
