that really sucks. My p5 was also totalled and if there's one thing I learned is that you shouldnt let life get you down. I had just put on a racing beat catback 3 days before it was totalled . . . so that really sucked for me. But I don't want that to stop me from having fun with cars. You did spend a lot of time and money on the car, but don't let some idiot ruin it for you. Mod your new car if you want and be happy that you had your p5 when you did.

On a side note - i noticed that your air bags deployed. I heard that whenever that happens, a car is declared totaled no matter what. A few family friends had this happen to them - they had minimal body damage to their car, but the air bags deployed, and the cost of resetting them is supposedly enormous. Kind of sucks, but they did do their job in protecting you and your son. I hope you have better luck in the future with idiot drivers. enjoy your new car

Wheni was in the dessert, a group of us were sitting around talking about what kind of we were going to get when we got home. I really liked the new max, i wanted to pay my car of then get it. I'll prob get another one later down the road.

I had just replace the struts, with tockiko blues, racing beat rear swaybar, alpine hu, new subs and new front left tire. When i say just i mean 2 months tops.

The can be replaced, my life can't, i'm really glad my son and i are ok it could have been worst. I am upset about the car but i'm not gonna let it get me down(anymore). The max is really nice, lots more room and power, so i'm really gonna enjoy it. I'm not going to do anything crazy, just tints, remotestart and put my subs in.

It's so hard to see what you put so much time and money into, just get taken away. I was really attached to this car. It was my first brand new car, and it was the first with a few things. On my way to work December 14 2004 I was cut of by this asshole who decide he did not want to yeild. I slammed into his right rear door headon. I was really upset, no so much about the car but my son was in the car with me. The guy never came over to ask if my son was ok. Geico is very quick when it comes to settling claims. The adj was there that morning, he told me the car was a total loss and gave me time to take a few parts of the car. I've since both an 05 Maxima, but i wish i still had my protege. Not to sound like a b**** but it almost make wanna cry thinking about it. Anyways enough of that s***, here are some pics.

It has been a long time, ive been there and now i'm back for good. the military can kiss my ass, yes i said it.(spank) Anyways i love the max, i installed the subs last week along with dei's 1200.1 class d amp to kick em. The car is a work of art, it's crazy fast for such a hevy car. And the heated seats and steering wheel, oh it's heaven. I still miss my p5 though. I'll still be coming to the p5's meets. I have the emblem from the front of the car i'll place over the nissan one(lol2)
