My baby got a boo boo...

Arkenzo we get your point, but instead of being an ass which serves no purpose except to make the OP feel worse, just keep it to yourself. I consider myself a good driver and ive never been in an accident but in DD I dont ALWAYS stay 3 car lengths behind all the time. Maybe it wasn't raining hard and the road was just a little slick. We dont know. The point is you don't know the situation so leave any negative assumptions to yourself. If she was racing through rainy streets and messed up her car then yeah that deserves some nasty posts but this was clearly an accident.

Key word here is ACCIDENT which means someone made a mistake. Nobody is a perfect driver. Some people are quick to judge instead of lending a helping hand to a fellow mazda owner in the community.

Everyone understands your point but....

Her: "Look at what I did to my poor baby...can we have a moment of silence for her!?"

You: "Should have been avoidable... you don't know how to drive in the rain!"

Ummm...thanks!

Hopefully they can fix her up like new. I've had a couple of accidents in my 21yrs driving and it really wakes you up and makes you extremely paranoid for a while. Also makes you see the "BIGGER PICTURE".

Since the airbags didn't go off the damage shouldn't be much more than cosmetic. Cars are made to crumple in a wreck so the damage usually looks worse than it is. I hope that's the case for you this time.
