Hey guys I've been on here for a while mostly in the P5 forums, as I really like them...but I did own a 91 MX6 once. Since then I've been into Hondas, but maybe someday I'll get a P5. Actually - and I hope no one considers this blasphemy - I like the 03 P5 shift knob so much I was thinking about getting on for my car, if it would fit.
I've had three Integras and a CRX Si, this is my current one. Pretty much everything, including the car, was free. I just have connections and know how to do stuff...(before you say the car was stolen, it was bought with insurance money from my other Integra getting rear ended).
Lowered ~2.5in on 15x8 Motegi MR12s w/ 205/55 BFGoodrich Traction T/A, front tower strut bar, rewired fogs (removed glare guards on fogs too), 55w yellow fog bulbs, 9004 Silverstar headlights, short ram intake, removed a/c and p/s, ES stabilizer bar bushings, f1 racing clutch, OEM Honda ITR red stitch shift boot, 90-91 tail lights "supercleaned" - top part is white instead of pink
I have a rear tower strut bar and C pillar bar in the mail right now and will be on my car in a couple days. Within the next few weeks my friend and I are going to install a B&M dual bend SS w/ new OEM shifter bushing. Hopefully I can pick up a manual steering rack from a CRX or EF Civic to make the turns easier, but I definitely like it better without p/s. No huge plans on it since it's my daily driver...but I love it. It's got 196k miles, starts up everytime, doesn't burn or leak ANYTHING, gets around 27 mpg...it's such a great car. The only rust on it is on the hatch and the gas door. The bottom/frame is cleaner than cars only a couple years old. That's pretty damn good for a car that's been in Ohio all it's life
I have a morbid fascination with the DA Integra...so here's my 93 RS
What it looked like when I got it:
And for a grand total of $8, this is what it looks like now
Nevermind the fart can...it came on the car and I hate it (sssh)
A little ricey, but it came that way
The interior on this is a mess...unlike my old Integras. When I got it half was painted silver so I painted it back to black but it's too glossy...but still an improvement. I need a dash kit for the CD player, and it's currently being supported by another one, lol. And my steering wheel is chopped up in the middle for some reason, no matter - I am putting in the three spoke one from the 90-91s. And I'm using a "horsecock" knob from a first gen DSM LOL
Anyway I'm a pic ***** and there are tons more pics on my Myspace, link is in the sig
...and just for good measure here's a P5 I drew a couple years ago
