how many miles you got on it?

Don't hate me,but no it's not worth it. I kind of wish I would wreck mine because that would make me get a better car.

108k miles. im thinking its not going to be worth it. i do body work and it got me second guessing what i should do

well ,since it is your car, the only question that you have to ask yourself is ; can you afford a new car....if no,then you got your answer:it is worth fixing it....
my protege has 115000 miles on it,and never had ANY mechanical problems of any kind.i just take very good care of it.

yea im going to fix i. parts came to 405.73 but i got to pay 203 in shipping so its 608 for all the parts minus the bumper(waiting for a P5) and the headlights(ebay).

also is the radiator support welded and bolted or just welded

FYI: The P5's bumper will not fit with the 99/00 headlights, fenders, and grill without modification.

yea im putting 01 parts on fender, hood, headlights and p5 bumper.

i broke something on the transmission. its the part that controls what gear the car is in. the part that holds the cable (auto car by the way) on the front of the trany. anyone know what part this is

I dont know what the part is but i am repling to this . You say you are a body man, If you are going to do the conversion to a P5 front end then make sure you us the P5 rad support . thqnt way the fenders , lights and such will line up . You will also need these parts as well ,inner fender liners , front under bumper shroud , Iwould probably be cheaper and easire to get the whole front clip that way you get all the parts you need ,

yea i acutally did the convo im waiting for my head lights everything lines up good

here some pics there from my blackberry so there not that good
