Here are a couple pics of my 1988 323 GT.
I picked it up today. The car is 100% stock with 232KM on the odometer with only one previous owner.
I took it for a quick run and it's fast. I was crusing on the hwy in 5th doing 120KM/hr and sunk the accelerator...In less than 10secs the car was up to 150KM/hr. Not bad for a 19yr old car.
This summer I plan to repair the rust around the rear wheel well and get a set of Tokicos and H&Rs installed.

any thoughts of selling it ;)? i want one badly

Like you I've been looking for one of these since 1992. There were a couple available inthe early 1990's but I did not have the $$ to afford it at the time....Brand new this car sold for $15K CAD.
I came across a couple last year but they were badly rusted and had a lot of work done to them....This is the first original condition 323 GT I have seen.
I can't sell this since my son has his heart set on driving this over the summer.

autocrossing does nothing to clutches
If you click the link you'll see that for Calgary there is a Solodex competition...I was referring to the fact that to enter a Solodex competition and be competive you would need a tight suspension and a good sharp clutch.....My clutch and suspension are ok, but not good enough for me to compete in the Solodex......Click the link and see.

it's just the same as any typical autocross.... there's a thing called STOCK class, race in it and have fun, who cares if you lose!

clutches and brakes don't get beat on at autocrossing, you usually only shift once and that's it (you don't ever need to drag launch)... and you're not going fast enough to burn up your brakes.... you usually never go faster than 100km/h

Here's a little diary of some of the work I've done on the 1988 323 GT so far.
I hope you can open the .pdf file.
If not, I'll upload some images.

(five-0) nice looking 323 dude. grey sedans are the money aye haha. 4WD? Turbo?

Yes, it has the FWD & a 1.6L DOHC Turbo/Intercooled 4-banger under the hood. The engine is original so too is the clutch. I just upgraded the suspension with H&Rs and Tokicos. Maybe next year I'll swap out the clutch, but I don't plan to touch the engine.

So,
I got my hands on a set of 240SX wheels for the 323GT.
I put some 195x55R15 Falkens on them and they are great.
Here're a couple shots.
