MSP Weapon R Performance Short Ram Dragon Intake for $136.00

btw imo its a nice lookin intake. ive had both the injen(cai and later sri w/apexi filter) and perrin. id say get it

Easy Solution.. Just get some straight piping from Home Depot and put a filter on the end.. you could call it the.. HD performance SRI...

Never heard anything bad about Weapon R. They have been around for quite some time. I am thinking about just ordering their secret weapon filter for the Spool piping I have sitting in the closet. I'd say it's worth it to save ~100 and have to buy a filter later IF it does dry and crack up IMO.

F*UCK Weapon R... The used my car to fit/make their intake, and I was promised one after they finished. Then they told me they were not going to release the intake, and what do I see a few months later.

Weapon R makes cheap stuff, I wouldn't go with their crappy foam intake filter. You can see right through the thing, I doubt it actually filters anything. If you could see the people that worked there you'd think twice before buying any of their products.

Well just so you guys you know, A thread was started recently by an MSP owner, and he's making a carbon fiber SRI and a CAI. The molds are done, and then carbon prototypes should be in by the of the week from what he says. He hinted at hardpipes and possibly an FMIC in the near future. Check out the link, sounds very promising

Weapon R filters are garbage, and theier piping is cheesy too, I had one on my 96 maxima it sounded good but wasn't all that great for the money.

Nobody makes a good SRI for the MSP that I've seen. I just have the Injen CAI with the filter clamped on the MAF and the air temp sensor zip tied nearby. Works fine. Much better than the Perrin that is sitting in a box in my garage. Big waste of cash there.

people said Cone filter suck hot air and loss hp, so wt about Weapon R SRI and Perrin?

It's not the cone filter itself, but the placement of the cone filter that matters. Sticking a cone filter on the end of your MAF with stock pipes is generally a bad idea because the placement is kinda right behind the hot radiator. A cone filter in conjuntion with intake piping that relocates the filter to a good position will work well.

Perrin makes a very nice SRI but its 190 bucks...but like they say you get what you pay for

You don't get anything for your $190 with the Perrin. Unless you like your car running like s***. Then you get a lot of that.
