Well yash, I look at it this way...even though I hate your constant bashing on my car, some of it's quite hilarious and I just brush it off. You always seem to come up with something new every time you post...

The best neon color is silver...the worst MSP color is silver...how weird is that? I seriously think the silver MSP looks nice, but the rest just looks better. The SRT colors, though...ick. The silver looks really good, but that yellow and red just look...ick. Of course...you should always bet on black!

Sorry...i had to post something non-performace oriented. The SRT-4 is faster...but I dont' believe for one second that it will out corner an MSP for 300$. I also know for a fact that JoeP spent nowhere near 2k$ to get as fast as an SRT.

with a lack of LSD and to much torque the dodge will not take the MSp on the track, it is simply to hard to power through corners with that much torque steer.

The cars are different, making one the other will take money, no matter what. If they actuayl cost the same I would personaly get the dodge but with the MSP under $18K these days and the dodge climbing toward $24K I would DEFINITLY take the MSP over the SRT/4. For a $6K difference the MSP is hard to beat. Consider this, look at what exists at $6K over the neon, the 350Z, RX-8, EVO and STI are in range.

My cousin bought a 02 WR Blue WRX for 18,500 with 20k on the odemeter. It was a dealer demo with all the available STI parts, 17x7 OZ Superleggeras, and a stage 1 turbo upgrade. The dealer had the WRX dynoed at 240whp.

He gets SRT-4s all the time wanting to race him but he just ignores them. He knows his car would whip the SRT-4 so he doesn't bother. He goes for bigger game like EVOs, STis, Vettes, and Stangs.

The funny thing is he blow the tranny while racing a EVO 2 months ago so he really doesn't bother now.

The only problem w/ the dealer Demo is the fact that they beat the living hell outta the car.

Those are probably 14K hard miles. It sounds like a good buy, but have your cousin take it back there if anything fails... I mean anything!

(Only reason why I say this is b/c I have been told some horror stories w/ the dealer demos)

im a girl msp owner and i personally think that the msp is a much more attractive car than a neon interior, exterior by far.yea the srt4 is faster but the msp has pretty respectable speed . what kinda car has power windows in the front and manual windows in the back(srt4).......what was dodge thinking???
