I know a guy with 1999 Maxima who runs low 11s at the track. yea LOW 11S.
Even 1999 maxima will own MSP. I raced MSPs in my maxima and owned.
(pow) BS..a 99 Maxima is a mid 15 sec car. MSP owns Maxima in every measureable performance category.

Road course... no doubt that stock MSP suspension owns maxima suspension. Lets try quarter mile run and u will get owned! You want to try? Ill race you in my maxima!

I drove an 03 SE that my dad had as a rental. Damn that thing was quick. I was really surprised how much power it had.

I love my Mazda, no argument, but I also love my Maxxie and Maxima is the fastest sports family sedan out of all V6's. Its VQ30DE engine is really strong when it comes to modding and as I said it holds up really nice when you do major performance work. Do some search at maxima.org forums. U'll be amazed by what cababilities these puppies have.
Altho I hate the way 2004 maxxie looks. Front is soooooooo discusting. People at Nissan just had to make it look like Altima. Damn it, where is this going?!?!?! 2003 maxima has 255 bhp and I think 270 lbs of torque and comes in either a 6-speed manual or with 5-speed auto with overdrive.

This fella, doesnt have a chance against 2003 maxxie, although if he would race a 99 maxxie it would be pretty close, but deppends on the driver.

now go race one with the VQ35

VQ35 Max > Spec or MSP

VQ35DE is the 2000 and up maximas, which are 5th generation V6 3.5
VQ30DE is 1995-1999 maximas which are 4th generation V6 3.0
and VE30DE is 1989-1994 maximas which are 3rd generation and still V6 3.0

SE-R SpecV is sweet too. My friend has one. That thing is quick as hell but not as quick as maximas. I still love nissan.

the spec-v isnt a straight line car anyways.... kinda like the MSP. dragging either one is a waste of time. much better to hit a road course/autoX event.

A 5 spd 99 Maxima is a mid to low 15 second car. Hows that gonna own a MSP? And your car is a auto-tragic so how will that OWN my car? We're talking stock for stock here buddy, an MSP with $800 invested is as fast as a SRT-4 essentially.
I alter my statement. A MSP will OWN a 99 Maxima in any performance category. It will equal a new VQ MaximAr speed wise(with about 1 k in mods) and destroy it in any form of competitive motorsprt including road racing, auto-x etc.

Go race a newer Maxima. You will be VERY VERY disappointed, especially at highway speeds.

HAHAHAHA....(rofl) sure it is...

how can 800$ make you as fast as an SRT-4 ?

I'm assuming something like a CAI and an MBC, up the boost and hope the SRT-4 is stock ?

I raced one saturday night ... i knew i had no chance, but damn ... lol Fastest Skittle i've ever seen

i work for a mazda/nissan dealership, i'd have to say that the maxima would totally own the msp because of it's high amount of torque.

This is the first time I've trolled another type of car's forum. You Mazda guys are really cool (well, 9/10 of you...lol)

My dad is a huge mazda fan. He owns a Millennia S. I really dig that car. It is, perhaps, the first family sedans with style and power/handling from one of the japanese companies. And, for some reason, it's re-sale value sux. I've been trying to talk the wife into getting a used one. High feature content for not much money. But, the auto-x guy in me wants to convince her into a 3 wagon.

Heh, Mazda Millenia looks alright comparing to 4th gen and 5th gen Maxima and Altima like yours. Its kewl to see that people from other forums go through here. I bet you are from altimas.net, hehe. My friend has a 94 Altima, his thing is pretty quick too.

15.08 s, 93.4 mph. 2004
Nissan Maxima 3.5 SE

Found that on quiet a few sites thats the newest maxima and it is faster then 2003 model but yet it is running 15's it will be drivers race we will have all top end on the v-6.. i just raced a prelude that ran 14.7 1/4 and i ran with him.. in my stock MSP.. so i think we could run it as long as your a good driver... if not you'll lose..

I am a member of Altimas.net.

I, too enjoy it when a few guys with other types of cars go thru our site and touch bases. i just thought I'd try it myself. plus, a Mazda could be my next purchase.
