MSP owners with 20,000 plus miles?

Has anyone had any serious problems with their MSP's over 20,000 miles? I have 22,600 and have had nothing major. I am flashed and have the INJEN CAI.

Also, where the hell is the fuel filter located....anyone changed theirs yet?

I am very satisfied with the car overall! Its unique, limited, and an outstanding deal for the money
 
I had some serious problems. Clutch failure, warped rotors, now the brake pads are grinding and they are fairly new, had the turbo replaced, exhaust brackets breaking. Kind of the works. I also have a problem with one of the bolts on the exhaust manifold heatshield that keeps unscrewing itself no matter how tightly its torqued down. I have 23K miles.

some of the suspension noise is due to the aftermarket braces. But it was doing some also before I had added them. The brakes grinding seems to be pretty common for all MSP's Notorious. I had that problem.. but it was after 4 track days. After I replaced them, I dont have any more grinding. But I have heard alot of people complain abuot grinding brakes even if they are not worn.
 
Other then suspension/perfomance issues due to miliage. My Interior also seems to have suffered. My seats are showing a bit of age on them.. the fabric seems dule and a bit frayed. I have tried washing them, but no help.

My brakes have been replaced a 16k miles and they need to be replaced again. Doesn't really bother me though, mazda can keep replacing them until they get it right. Suspension noises were common on my car also, but now with the stuff replaced with aftermarket the noises seem to be gone except when its cold in the morning.
 
Okay. my seat looks like s***. just the drivers one. i guess my bony ass ****** them up or some s***, but there is constantly an ass imprint in my drivers seat. it looks really queer and its not like im a fat ass...otherwise the weight would be evenly distributed.....bah, any ideas?
 
i have 18K with an INJEN and stock boost no major problems just squeaks from the front end when i hit bumps and start my car or start on a hill...

Dex,

Try fluffing them up a bit (like a pillow). I kinda have that problem b/c I carry an "old man's wallet" around and it gives that imprint so what I do is try to push the material towards the steering coloum a little bit and give it a lil fluff. :D

IT's all for nothing becasue the next time I sit down, the same thing happens again *sigh*

you can do a little (beer) or (hump) w/ the g/f to get some extra weight. (hump) builds muscles ya know :D
 
22,022 miles just today.

No problems, box stock spicy MSP, but for the flash and updated rear bushings. The new Sirius channels ROCK!

No major problems, Had my Injen Intake hose by the turbo come off and the car stalled a few times before I found it. Havent had to replace anything yet. Taking it to the dealer on Tuesday for the flash and a question about my tranny.

I remember on my MP3 that when I went to 5th then tried to go into reverse it wouldnt let me... But I can do it on my MSP now and I cant remember if it has always been that way...
