i'd say supra if it's a turbo, if not then stick with the msp. also remember an 11 year old sports car is going to cost a lot more to maintain than a 2 year old econo car, so make sure you can afford it
i pay out the ass for insurance right now and it only went up 10bucks a month when i switched from a wrangler to a msp (the insurance company did use mazdaspeed protege not protege es)
trust me, it's goin up a good amount. wranglers are pretty expensive to insure because of their high rollover rate and ease of theft (no doors), so that's why it only went up $10/month. if it's a supra turbo i'd venture to say you're looking at $5000+/year for insurance if you have a clean driving record.
fwiw, at 22 with a clean record my insurance went from ~$2000/year to ~$3000/year when i switched from MSP to evo. granted insurance is probably more around here than in georgia and i have pretty low deductibles/high coverages, but still, a supra will be similar and much more expensive for you being not 21 yet
Your insurance will def go up...........youre going from a sedan to a sports car.........get ready to be bent over and f'ed up the ass with no lube haha
I just did a quick quote for me on progressive.com for a 94 turbo supra. I'm 23 married and own a home and it would be 1031.00 for 6 months with 250/500 coverage with 500 deductable
I love my speed but it's a Supra. I say as long as you have the funds to keep it up then go for it. If you wait then the next time you have a chance to get one it may be a 20 yr old car.
yea i guess i am most definately gonna get even more ***** up the ass with insurance. oh well. im tryin to get more info about the car so i can post it up.
