i get average 180 miles per tank.......
but that's cause i drives the s*** out of it

EVOs have really tiny gas tanks too.

that just seems wrong for a car that gets like 19/25 mpg

To secret to getting good mileage on the highway is to do no more than 50mph with the windows up and the A/C on.

someone help me find a 350 ft edge my car can roll off of and flip about 15 times...so I can get an EVO.

I get about 25 mpg in Vegas which is about 2000+ above sea level so I guess it's ok. I think it's good, the wifes 6s gets about 16 to 18 mpg...were both sort of lead footed so go figure.

u know...i noticed that on my MSP i got MUCH better gas milage with stock intake.
60-80 miles more.

btw, evo's have a 14 gallon tank. the light just comes on early. normally you will have 3 gallons left when the light comes on.

Are you sure your trunk release is really busted? There's a "switch" on it that when it's flipped the inside trunk release doesn't work. Mine "switched" itself 2 or 3 times somehow....so I'd check that first if I was you.

mine used to do the same thing, so i switched it back... not it doesn't work period... WtF?

I drove to portland last month and got on average 35mpg. I was getting about 130 miles per quarter tank. In terms of MPG this car is great. during the summer i got the last laughs, most of the people at my school drive V-8's. Everyday they complained about getting 8mpg. I just smiled.
