[font=verdana, arial, helvetica]i know this is old but my car wouldent boost over 4k then slam into red line i had this problem for a while so i said frig it and took it to mazda they flashed it now it boosts from 0 to 7 1/2k wow what a deffrence in performance! but can i still put a boost controoler on or am i gonna have a problem cause i see people trying to trade there flashed for non flashed why???[/font]

The flash advanced the timing and people were getting pings and nocks. They found that you cannot turn up the boost as high as you could pre flash. You can still use the boost controller just dont go crazy. Use your head. I think thats about it... Might wana check with someone else tho... second opinoins are good.

If you want to be safe...do NOT use a fuel cut defensor (FCD) of any kind. Use the boost controller, and set it so you don't hit fuel cut.
The fuel cut is there for a reason!
