MSP bumper?

Can I just buy it from mazda, and does anyone know how much it would be, i know i would have to get it repainted, only if they would paint in the midnight blue, and i dont think they do. So does anyone know how much? And is it feasable?

You mean the 2003.5? You don't need the whole bumper, just the lower lip. Proce from the dealer is $250, unpainted.

I thought the dealers only sold the 03 MSP parts for sedans who wanted to do the conversion. I haven't heard of anyone selling 03.5 lips & if they do, then how come we haven't seen anyone who has one?

I really dont know what to do, becuase the dealer i go to is not mazdaspeed certified, so i have to go about a 1hr drive just to go to talk to them.

So you guys are just saying all i need is the lips from the MSP and it will pretty much be the same? They look at lot different, like around the foglights. They look a lot differernt.

If you look at the picture I posted in my thread, the lip and fog light inserts are one piece. There are also grills that go into the fog light holes. I'm not sure what other parts are necessary for mounting though.

As for part #, I have no idea. I guess you can just go to the part center at the dealer and ask.

I'm not sure who makes the lip. I've seen it a few times on this board. Since I don't own a P5/MP3/MSP, I never really paid attention. I just skimmed passed it, but here is a pic.

yeah but remember with the stock p5 bumper you will have the amber bumper lights, unless you get them shaved off or use a MP3/MSP front bumper.

If it's not too expensive, would anyone be interested in a group buy? I've heard that the MSP lip is about $250 from the dealer. I don't think I could afford any more than that.

Try to get a MP3/MSP bumper. Let the P5 bumper be your last choice.
