i own a 2003.5 titgray msp its got a fmic cai full exaust ... blah blah blah

but the question is wen i usually exelerate through 2,3, some times 4th usualyy at 4000+ rpm the car starts shuttering,, the whole thing will start rocking im not sure what it could be,, i think it might be the air fuel ration and might need to be taken in for fuel management,, which i should do any way.. but wat do u guys figure?

our car runs naturally rich from the factory so yes this is most likely the hesitation you have. how many miles are on the car? there is a flash for the ecu that the dealer does but id recommend u just get some kind of ems since u already have all the supporting mods for the car. looks at this thread for solutions to your hesitation http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89457

i use the afc but it depend what you goals for the car are as to decide which one to pick. some things you should know though:
1. never boost you car above 10psi on stock internals no matter what.
2. get a good boost gauge and wideband afr gauge if you do decide to raise boost.
3. get colder range spark plugs if your raising boost.
4. always use premium gas
5. never boost in 5th gear and ease in the throttle.
6. welcome to the forums there is everything u could ever want to know bout ur car on here. just search if you dont find it, ask. never do anything to the car if your not 100% positive what you are doing.

well i already got the wrx 440cc injectors so if i can just find a hood up with that.. then i can get them both installed then get it fuel managed..... BUTT im in a little bit of debt right now soo im gonna ahve to wait a few weeks

curetnly 85000km

I have a custom Spool setup on my P5and I get the MAD hesitation that you describe too. ANd once you pass 5000 RPM it goes away, right? Same here. It sucks...

ya it scares the s*** out off me... the dealership wants 95 to get it fuel managed but thats without installing the 440cc injectors and what ever els i need

The 440 injectors (I have WRX ones) you can install yourself. You literally pop the fuel rail off, and pop them in and plug in the connectors. It's SO easy. But you need fuel management to run them. They won't work on a stock ECU.

i just found a hole in one of the rubber elbows on my inter cooler,,, duck tape should hold till i find a replacement... any one know a good place to get a cheap replacement hose?

Can the unichip control this with a custom tune?
