ms6?

wow thats cheap for a mazdaspeed 6, i got my regular 4 cylinder 6i for 12,999, although it only had 36k and that was back in '07, i would say go for it

what makes anyone think that 80k miles is a lot? i've driven where the needle is touching 0mph again in a 140,000 mile 240sx, and 180,000 on a plymouth voyager turbo (POS) you have TONS of miles left on that car, you may need to replace some belts and the turbo eventually, but those 80k miles are guarenteed highway miles. thats 30k miles a year they were driving. i feel the greatest thing in the world is aiming for a 200,000mile mark in any car. its also built in JAPAN so its not like they are meant to fall apart after the 50k miles, like Domestics and Euros.

that is half of what i payed for mine lol
miles are a little high but get a carfax and if everything checks out jump on it

This depends on the VIN, some were constructed in Michigan at Ford. As Ford used to hold a large amount of equity in Mazda. Don't believe me, pull out your dipstick and read the stamping towards the bottom. I know mine says "FoMoCo."

They use some ford parts but all Mazdaspeed 6's were build in Hiroshima Japan, regular us 6's are built in us. Your dipstick says fomoco, but your vin starts with a J, not a 1

80k is a lot for a car you don't know. If it was someone you knew personally and you knew it was taken care of I'd say go for it, but when it could have been modded, beat on hard, returned to stock, and put up for sale... it would have me worried.

at least 80% of all speed 6s are assembled in japan and do not contain work from ford. 80% as in 80% of each car, not 80% of all speed6s. the rest of the parts are shared with the US spec Mazda6, which is outsourced to Japan.

The miles are high but that is a good price for a ms6, the ones that I have seen when I was looking last month did not come down past $17K but they had about 15-30kmiles on them
