MS6 rough start and idle

2007 model, Stock car, no CEL

Using premium gas* and changing oil on schedule since new.

any idea where to start?

Upgrade this petroleum to 93 Octane too you will see a much better difference also check your air filter could be clogged up could be struggling for air since the allergies are really high concentrated from the season changing over, everything is blooming and spring time can be a b****.

Clean your MAF and what Bova said - check for air leaks. If your MAF is reading differently from whatever is going into your TB, you'll have rough idle and potentially sh*t running.

I could of swore regular is 87 premium is 89 and supreme is 93 oh well its different around this country

I don't know why anyone wouldn't put 93 into their car when it's available. Doesn't make sense to me. Our engine like good gas, that's all there is to it.

Your EGR valve could be clogged up. It will cause rough starting when its cold. But start just fine after its warm. Plug in a reader and see if there is a code pending. If its P0401 then thats your problem.

Simple fix really. Search, and you'll find a how-to on a forum somewhere.
