Its currently sitting under my passenger seat until I find a better place for it. Probably going to wrap it in a towel and throw it in with the spare tire.

Go White! What part of MI are you in? I was going to get the JL sub but no where around had 8" subs and I got the Polk for $40 and it sounds great. I'll be at the game this weekend, kicking myself for not making it to the game against uofm.

i think it looks clean, i just dont like that the trunk mat is bent down and looks kind of awkward because of the amp wiring. I dont think even installing it higher would have fixed it since the wires have to run somewhere. But that box is sweet! I would get one but i was debating whether an 8-inch sub all the way back there would even be that loud/noticeable over my exhaust so I just threw a 12 with an amp in a slim box.

i also like the trunk mat, been meaning to get one of those things!

I agree. The box looks great. I think in person the box carpet color would look more black than in the picture - not a huge deal. But I think the trunk mat being folded down would bother me too. It does look like the amp is causing it to fold down quite a bit. If the amp was mounted higher, then maybe cutting a slit in the trunk mat for the wires would cause it not to fold over? Don't know. In anycase, thanks to the OP for sharing his great install

I've got that box, a JL 8w6, and a JL 250/1 amp ready to be installed. I'll take some pictures of it when I finally get it all installed.

I'm in the Royal Joke now. Does that sound pretty good without any sound deadening? I get quite a bit of buzzing in the doors from bass notes even with just the stock Bose system. Especially now that it's cold.

Thats cool, theres a lot of active MI guys around the area you should meet up with us sometime. It sounds pretty sweet without any deadening, I dont get buzzing or rattling in the doors, my front window rattles but thats with the radio off too. I just have the sport so no bose for me.

it really helps the stock stereo a lot adds just enough, I'm glad the deal came around for me to get one.
