MS3 runs 14 flat @ 101 mph in latest Car and Driver

MS3 = Sport compact

Any car that is as quick and handles and stops as well as the MS is pretty far removed from being just an economy hatch on steroids, IMO. I mean... this thing makes as much power and accelerates as quickly as a last-gen Mustang GT, as well as keeping up with several other 'sports' cars in overall performance.

I'll never agree that a car has to be RWD to be considered a sports car. Though I do feel like 'true' sports cars should be two seaters.

Still... MS3 definately falls into the sport car category, in the same way as there are sport sedans, sport compacts, whatever. Take it to an autocross and tell me it isn't sporty

Now if Mazda would just put this engine in the Miata already, so I can have a lightweight sports car with this kind of power, not a sedan or a hatchback, I'll be happy. I'm waiting on the the Mazdaspeed Miata, which will own the 3 and the 6 in EVERY aspect.

Yea Yea Yea, they are great cars but WAY to small. I would not own one just for that reason. Maybe if it was just a track car but a daily driver, hmmm not feeling it.
