MS3 on tow dolly or trailer?

Hey all.... I'll be taking a 10+ hour road trip with a friend of mine. He's driving his truck and we're also taking my ms3 since he'll be staying 2wks longer than me. We are planning to rent either a tow dolly or car hauler from u-haul to help save wear/tear on my car and also save on fuel costs, since its mostly interstate and his truck may lose up to 2 mpg, a lot less than 2 vehicles.

With that said, has anyone tried to put an MS3 on a standard trailer or tow dolly? I'm just wondering if there are any issues with clearance or the like.

also, I'm more than open for suggestions for making it work or "best practices" as well, esp since I don't want to tear something up by trying to save a few $$

Thanks

Yeah a tow dolly and a big bump or something stupid would put your bumper into the ground. The trailer would be best for a safe trip in my opinion.

uhmm.. probably not.

maybe a higher #, but on a truck the torque/hp band is built for hauling/towing.

its not the torque/hp band thats the issue, its the gearing

besides, if the hp/tq number is higher, than that means I have MORE hp/tq, right??

you didn't think I was actually going to tow the truck, did you??
