But I still can't belive we wasted a first roind pic in the draft on someone that is not living up to what he should. As for more examples...after the whole VA Tech thing he donated like 10K to the school, but then rather than let it lie at that he setup a press conferance to tell the whole world he did. Plus 10K is s*** to him....donate some real money. He also was supposed to make an apperance at a Boys club I believe it was in DC. He got to the airport late and missed his flight. No big deal we're talking about ATL. There's a flight out to DC every 45 mins. But he decided he can't wait and went home. Then he didn't bother to call to let them know he wouldn't be there....just didn't show. Those are the 2 major things that stick out in my head.

I have lived in atlanta for 7 years now and I have tried very hard to like the Falcons but I just don't like Vic. He is talented as an athlete but he is just too inconsistant. Maybe the offence just isn't tailored to his style of playing. I would like to see Shockley put in and have Vic in as a split back or somewhere in the backfield. That could open him up for screens, tosses, pitch and pass and a lot more trick plays. Maybe if Atlanta had an offensive coordinator like Gus Malzahn from Arkansas with some creativity his talent could be let out instead of trying to play him like every other scrambling QB.
Until then I'll be rooting for the Carolina Panthers

I agree with your vick assesment but I think if he doesnt' work out with us then he should be traded for a high draft pick and not used as a gimmick player. I'd like to see how he does on another team and see if its him or the scheme he's in and the way the coaches use him.
