I don't know if it has been posted anywhere else but I figured you guys might like to see SCC's review of the Mazdaspeed products for the MS3.

Included are the intake, exhaust, coil-overs, and Rays Engineering wheels.

Edit: Yeah I realize some of it is cut off but I think you get the info anyhow.:)

catback is a waste the most power comes from the turbo back systems offered in the aftermarket

I think the point is, it's dealer installed and warrantied.

I love the dyno with the air filter removed.. because yeah I'm gonna drive around like that all the time. Yes, it did show that the stock filter could probably be improved, but meh

300ft/lb through the front wheels is a ludicrous proposition though. At least the car is quite portly (400 pounds more than the Protege5) so it's not as much of an issue.

Hmm, those wheels do look nice on the car. I wonder what the model of it is.

They are exclusive to Mazdaspeed made by Rays Engineering.

Very impressive and point is if anything broke, you bring it back to the dealer.

Where else can you spend this kind of money, and take your family to Home Depot and buy some stuff with your 300 HP wagon?

Serious value and performance.

I'd go buy these crank the boost up undetectably and proceed to pop the motor. Tow the car to Mazda and blame it on the mods. Ok well I prob wouldn't.

rumor now, but mazdausa is working on more parts also. one fo the heads is sending t3, t4 and other diffrent turbos to an aftermarket manufacture out here in cali. There working on new manifold for diffrent turbos to bolt up to the motor, Dont know if its for an upgraded turbo next year, or for sale from mazdaspeed. Bu one fo the heads at mazdaspeed is having thi done! Buddy of mine is friends with him, sl we are trying to get more info. (pus discounted parts for me).

Those dyno plots show alot of peaks and valleys. Smooth those lines, look at area under the curve and the gains seem to be in line with the previously quoted SSC figure of "30 crank hp". Which is pretty impressive for factory labelled parts.

Gotta go buy this issue of SSC and put in the "MS3 file". When I go to sell this car in 3-5 years, the next owner is gonna know ALL about this little hotrod.....
