JDM Mazdaspeed Axela/3
Hi Guys. I'm new here. Recently signed up on another forum as well so I'll just copy my intro posts from there

I'm BK and I'm the proud owner of a JDM Mazdaspeed Axela aka Mazdaspeed 3. I'm from the Caribbean on the island of Trinidad and had the car imported for me since last year. Right now it's confirmed that its the only one on the island.

No stranger to the Mazda family as I currently own a Familia RS, Familia Sport20, and a 2.0 JDM Mazda 3 as well. Been in Mazda for over 20 years now and even run my own Mazda specific tuning shop on the island.

Here's a sneak peek of the car (poor quality cellphone picture). Will post some more photos and details when I get some better shots. All work on the car was done at my shop.

The car was painted over. The paint code is Mazda's 24A and was available on the last run of JDM Familia Sport 20s (possibly some Mazda 3s as well but can't confirm that). This car originally came in Metro Grey, but blue is the signature colour of all the cars that we own at the shop

This Mazdaspeed3 started off with a stroke of bad luck actually. Somewhere along the shipping between Japan and Trinidad the car was badly vandalized and many things were stolen from it. When the car landed the original 18 inch wheels, Mazdaspeed spoiler, Mazdaspeed mats, emblems, door sill plates, and jack and spare tire were all gone. After being refunded for the missing parts by the dealer we used the opportunity to upgrade those same things to aftermarket parts and repaint the entire car as well.

No engine work at the moment. Car is still fairly new and has decent enough power for now. In any case, we build our vehicles from the ground up all the time i.e. suspension and brakes first, and add more power after.

So far the mods include DBA 4000 Front and Rear brake rotors with Hawk Pads, Koni FSD Shocks and TEIN springs (Not on the car in the photo), stainless steel brake lines, 18 inch custom painted Enkei Klamps, custom front and rear bumper work, custom sideskirts, carbon fiber wing, and AutoEXE mirrors

That wing is gimongous!

So is it your car or a shop spokes-car? Big plans in the future?

The wing is pretty big but it looks awesome in real life imo. Lots of people give positive comments on it.

It's a personal daily driven ride that doubles as mobile advertising for the shop.

I'm with oak on this one, I think the color is sweet, the wheels very tasteful, and the whinge looks like a suitcase handle.

Welcome to the forum!
