Ms3 best performance fwd yet ?

I'm just wondering if the ms3 is the best performance fwd car ever made. I can't really think of any other fwd car that can outdo it's performance. Hence meaning quartermile time, handling, and circuit racing. I know srt-4 neon do good in 1/4 mile, but not sure if it can outdo ms3 on track. other than that, tL type S and rsx are good cars, but i dunno if it's good on track eighter.....any thoughts guys ???

I know the guys at the autocross event were really impressed with it and I have never done autocross before. Nothing better realy comes to mind. Definately not the rsx or tl but maybe a late 90s Integra Type R.

well, isnt the TYPE S for acura their performance lineup ? hence the 286 hp of the TL vs 195 hp of integra type r ?? Anyways, i'm talking about STOCK performance overall. i dont think the type R integra will hurt the ms3 on a track.... how bout the 3000gt vr4 or the dodge stealth ...are they fwd ???

No they are not fwd.


The new Chevy cobalt ss is supposed to be better than the MS3 on the track. It beat us by 13s at the ring.

you know what, u might be right, but the car is not out yet and it had'nt done a time trial yet. From what i understand, C&D did a lightning time attack on the ms3 and edges out the s2000 by 2 seconds... hence the 350 z beat the ms3 by 2 seconds also. the OLD cobalt ss didnt even come close.. i think 6 seconds off ... but for the new cobalt, i'm pretty sure it's the closest rival yet but i'm still not found of chevy's suspension ... we'll see

ps. but for now... ms3 is still king ??? right ???

Yes, the MS3 is still the king of FWD compacts until some other car maker beats us to it.
