MP5T Rebuild Photo Journal

Its the APC CF hood as you know and it doesn't have rolled edges. Most have said that it is the best product APC has made lol.

I Have decided to retire the turbo that is in the MP5T. The Center Cartrige has developed some play and I have noticed a vibration plus the boost threshold has started to creep above 4000 where it used to be 2500... So I'm picking up a new turbo.

GT-28RS

To Replace The Old One.. This Sat... I'll post pictures..

For a second there I thought you were going to say you were going to take the turbo off completly. With the new turbo are you going to be making more power or less?

It's boosting now at 4000 Rpm due to the shot center cartridge.. It will boost 2500 Again as soon as I get the new one.. So... It will make max boost from 2500-7000 Rpm rather than 4000-7000... See the diference??

i looked back a bit but didn't find the answer... what size turbo is that replacing?

yea I can see a difference. I wasn't sure if you were going to tune it down or continue to improve on your awesome car. I have been reading a lot of people going back to stock and making their cars a lot more "reliable" latly, so I wasn't sure if you were going that way too. Also, I don't know a lot about turbos.

So I picked up a brand new GT-28R cartridge to go into my modified Compressor Housing. It will be a little more effecient than the last one..

It's going on as soon as Tam and I visit Mal and Co..

Where are you at dude? I'm noticing the PMQ's in Pet, but then I thought I saw NB plates (and the Moncton show). I'd love to have a look at your ride...
I'm living in Chalk, but going on course in Gagetown in Jan.

Time for a change..

Looking here.. for Fall..

The Accolade kit is sweet with the optional foglight holders or whatever you want to call them on the side grilles of the front bumper. Without them it looks dumb.

Whare can you source a JDM rear rebar from?
