MP5 MSP Engine Swap, any thoughts?

I have access to a MSP Engine, is there any reason that this shouldnt be an easy swap into my MP5?

That is how I understand it as well, and being that I have an oil leak I figure why not add some boost to my life.

as long as it's a complete enging Including turbo you shouldn't have any issues.
You will need a MSP ecu.

If I remember correctly, the MSP motor has lower compression pistons and a different water pump, right?

negative...
it has a different windage tray for oil feed and return
and differnt coolant bypass line

If you got a complete long block the change will be OK. Just make sure you have a MSP ecu for fuel management. Might as well get a new clutch kit.

Look to spend multiple thousands of dollars to get 170hp. lol
