MP5 headlight-failure

Hey guys (and girls of course)
I dont know if this is the right place to post this, but here it goes.
I have a P5. I have a problem with the headlights. I have no idea what its called in english (im from Denmark), but it keeps burning out. You know what I mean?? I just bought a pair of H.I.D. bulbs, but they lasted only one month. Does anyone have an answer/solution to that problem??

If they are the HID look bulbs, then those are notorious for burning out very fast. The ones from ebay especially will burn out in a month.

Some are also known to burn the wire harness.

Try doing a search for hyperwhite bulb or headlight bulb for more information

if you use high wattage bulbs it will burn out easily and may affect your headlights.
to prevent from this disaster, do not use bulbs wattage greater than 55watts.
or get sylvania bulbs or silverstar bulbs from your local store.
or try www.powerbulbs.com and buy osram bulbs.

something about changing your harnesses.. ask bijoump5.. he had to do it before..
