MP3 Exhaust on MP5

Hey guys, earlier I had a thread about mounting my friend's MP3 exhaust on my car, to show how much longer the MP3 sedan is than our car - turns out it is pretty much 5 inches longer.

Well now I took it to Meineke (discount mufflers) and had the tip cut off, and shortened by 5 inches, cost me 20$, and 20 minutes. Here's the result. Thanks goes out to MP3Girly for the exhaust.

very nice deep sound, also tho, very subtle - it's what I would call the perfect dealer option exhaust - unlike the mazdaspeed. It's just loud enough to the point you can pick out the sound of the exhaust, it's slightly quieter than the intake - funny enough, it only makes noise while in lower RPMs, 1500-3000rpm, and then goes away as the intake picks up in decibles. overall, the perfect buy for those looking for a..."investment addition" and not a "ricey exhaust", also I will admit, it wont intimidate anyone.

You know what, I don't think I've actually heard it run with that exhaust *attached* yet.. hm.. going to have to fix that. But all I hafta say is that it looks better on your car than it does on mine.. IMO anyway. It does fit just so nice into the litto' curve.. Not nearly big enough for the monsterous MP3 gap.. blahh. Oh well. Rice by sometime with it and lemme hear.

And yeah.. the exhaust purrs really well at low RPMs.. and especially when you have the CAI.. it's easily overpowered by the screaming racket in your engine bay. -_-

Well hey, you gotta remember that it's my exhaust. I mean, who wouldn't wanna fondle my stock exhaust? You can't blame him. Hahahaha.

Yeah um the hands thing is to show how big the exhaust tip is, try going to a stock p5 exhaust and fitting in 4 fingers plush side to side, don't think it'll work buddy! .... Sorry just thought I should give some sort of scale of the muffler.

but most people don't know you....so maybe you have tiny tiny hands.... :{D

you could have held up the stock exhaust pipe to pipe for scale....or better yet....hold up a ruler next to it.
