OK, so now I have been reading up on all the choices for aftermarket motor mounts (other than the CorkSport inserts). The latest entry (CPE) uses a 50 durometer material. So the choices are (from my little bit of research):
CPE - 50 durometer
Street Unit - 62 durometer
AWR - 70 or 88 durometer
TRZ - poly / delrin (?? durometer)
PT Performance - solid billet (infinity durometer?)
I made homemade 90 durometer motor mounts for my old Sentra SE-R and they were awesome - but they vibrated a LOT.
Obviously, the construction and design of each of the above is a bit different, but I would like to hear opinions on durometer levels.
What is the stock mount's durometer?
Wouldn't 50 durometer be too soft, no matter how strong the mount itself is?
