mongolian bbq?

i was in Cali for business for a few months this spring and they took me out to mongolian bbq for the first time (and second and third and 4th, but thats beyond the point) and i loved it! Anyone else employ the art of squishing down the meat with the second bowl to maximize your meat serving!? Totally against most places rules, but worth it if you can get away with it

Mongolian newbe has already become a master of the art of maximizing. Talent like that can't be taught,it's a gift! You were born with the force.

The one by Silverado theaters off Bandera closed. I don't know about the others.
Hey, are you following me? Stop looking at my ass!

Oh, I thought thats how I was going to pay for the repairs?? Anyways, well I hope the one by Northwood's didn't close, I might swing by tonight just to make sure.

had mongolian beef in some hole in the wall restaurant my family went to in seoul, korea. about as close to authentic as i've ever had. never had anything quite like it since.

/also a military brat

sure, i've had some pretty good stuff here, but maybe it was the lack of food regulations 20 years ago in korea that made it so good.

i went to some place in koreatown in l.a. that was the best i've had so far.

damn mongolians, always knocking down my bad wall

grrrrr, I was going to post that as soon as I saw the thread title....

I've never heard of this, but I have to say I'm interested. I highly doubt I'm going to find one in CT though.

I've been to braza.. it is right next to the law school. holy crap that place is great.. they just bring you skewer after skewer of meat until you tell them to stop.

all you can eat, lots of meat, you pick what you want and don't want. i've never been but hearing your description of mongolian and what i had remembered my friend telling me about braza it sounded similar, or the closest thing i've heard of in CT

Well mongolian bbq is like chiense food... lots of noodles and rice mixed in, not just meat, oh and I got to lazy to check on the fire hut by north woods but i'm going to cal them, I NEED TO KNOW
