Mods? Take a look at my engine?

well the vin leads to production #1129 which i dont see anywhere. with the few items that are off a little im curious about the overall running condition

FYI my car came with a pinstripe

Thanks,

I actually didn't even see the VIN number anywhere - you guys are good lol. I'm curious as well as to the condition. There definitely is no point in having a boost controller unless your cranking it up... so we'll have to see exactly how she runs. It makes me really want to get an extended warranty, but idk if they'll cover me with all these mods....

"all these mods" are really very minor. the only things that are "mods" that change anything are the CAI and boost controller.

had altezzas on it... damn, did I call that or what? I feel awesome! lol

somebody tell me if the joeP FPR is worth installing? I have one (freebie) but.. honestly, idk.

were like ******* CSI round here. well the rest of yall anyways. doesnt look like he got out of control with modding. I would doubt he returned boost to stock levels. if he didnt keep that in mind with everything else stock or close too it it should be fine, myself i would put it back to 6psi until you get a feel for the car then mod if you desire

Damn! You guys rock! Mega props for finding my exact mazdaspeed, to all who helped! That's teamwork, lol. I found his email address on there and sent him an email. Who knows if its still the right email, but that'd be pretty sweet to sell your car and then literally 4 years later have someone email you saying they have your car with 40,000+ miles on it since you last saw it.

I had a love/hate relationship with the turkey sound but after I put a bov in there I loved that sound more ;)

I liked the sound of a BOV but when I went with Turbolifes FMIC I got rid of the BOV and went with just the BPV. I love the sound but I love not having the dipping problem coming up to a stop. I was running the dual setup also and still occasionally had a problem.

Im running dual setup, I had to adjust the bov a bit but now I dont have any problems at all.

That's good. I couldn't see myself cutting up the cold pipe to run the dual setup, I'd feel to bad doing that. What BOV are you using?

I'd like to put a BOV on here - I'm not a fan of the turkey gobble. I've heard it can cause some problems without relocating the MAF... I'm reluctant to do it myself, considering I have very little experience working with cars. How easy is something like that to do?

only good way is to install a hardpipe kit... check the DIY section for ideas, or:

great deal, and ready for you to MAF relocate... just take it to a welder and get the BPV fitting swapped for the BOV flange of your choice.
