I am having my transaxel fluid changed tomorrow, and I wanted to have it filled with Redline but I can't find any locally. Anyone have any experience with Mobil 1 75W-90?

OR: If you have changed out your tranny fluid for synthetic, what did you use and why?

thanks
Nik

I have. Don't waste your money. Get the Redline MT 90. I tried the Castrol and the Redline was much better in the cold and second gear grinding.

I ordered mine thru Summit Racing. 7.95 a bottle.

Well, since this thread got a BUNCh of replies...

I had Valvoline Synthetic 75W-90 dumped in. Seems to have cured the 1-2 crunch/miss-shift. Also, cold shifting is much better. Will have to see how it lasts.

well, i had the valvoline quick change station change the tranny oil when the changed the motor oil. i think it cost $40 for them to put the synthetic into the tranny.

i got redline, it is getting installed tom. with my lsd and clutch. I've heard great thing about it. For the extra few bucks it has to be worth getting the redline. Considering most of the money is in the labor, and if you are doing it yourself why not treat yourself to the best! BTW i paid like 8$ a quart, i also got their 5w-30.
