Got a New Shift boot from RedLineGoods.com.


Before: Poor stock shift boot does not have Red Stitching.

Close up shows it is cracking... so sad...

Ten minutes later... after a quick swap. RED STITCHING!

Now my interior is complete!

I looked at the website you mentioned and didn't see a shift boot listed for the Miata. Little help?

how was yours cracking already? Mines a 2002 and hasn't shown any signs of cracking yet (squinty) damaging it to get a new one...I see you.

I was the second owner of the car. The boot was starting to crack when I bought it. I was wondering how that happened too. Maybe the previous owner spilled something on it because the boot was rock hard in some places.

Oh well, gave me a good excuse to get a nice (better looking) one. (wiggle)

Mine's doing a similar thing. I wonder if it's due to the extra sun from top down driving.
