Looks like north of SF, but how far north?

just south of Big Sur, where we stayed for the night before pushing on to SF.

we were in a rented Ford Escape V6 4x4, and i have to say it did a fine job of keeping up with the Eclipse GT in front of us, and also a fine job in the sand at Pismo Beach where we ate lunch.
