MkV GTI

i wish the crx would come back, id die for one that was brand new like that. but i doubt it would come to usa anytime within the next couple years. i know for damn sure they have one made somewhere, but their not gonna reveil it. the crx was the most cheapest, faster car anyone could afford. hell, id take a crx now over most new hondas, the new civic si looks like a minature van on crack. i hate the new honda body styles, thats why im driving a p5. :D and btw, i love my p5! but yeah, that prototype pic of the photoshopped insight looks awesome, the prototype crx pretty much has a rsx front end, but with the classic crx back. man..... i cant imagine having a 2006 CRX, that would be so awesome!

The VW TDI get like 50 mpg! Now that efficient!

This might be old news to some but I remember reading VW's concept roadster. Its target weight was under 2000lbs and due to some kinda top secret fuel injector and weight it gets 60 mpg. This was about a year ago. I was doing alittle research and this is what I found...the actualy real concept roadster (don't know if its the same concept I read up on) called "Concept R"

efa.jpg

265 PS V6 Mid-engine RWD
0-62 in 5.3 seconds
195 kW (261 hp) @ 6250 rpm
258lbs of tourque @ 2800 rpm
160mph (governed top speed)
six speed direct selection gearbox

The concept pics looked alot better!

im not a big VW fan but that car is unreal, and the diesal motor would be awsome imagine the boost levels it could handle if turbo'ed, who cares what noises the engine makes, as for the FS CRX dude you should some how inform honda on that, cause it looks pretty cool, and most there stuff now is do for a facelift

VW's diesels ARE turbo...the TDIs are really overlooked, but some of the modded ones are putting out almost 400 tq!

You got it! Let's face it...Diesels rock. Here is a link to the VW TDI fest from 2002.

Also, here is a link of a TDI beetle with an chip from www.upsolute.com winning a drag race with a GTI VR6.

Diesel engines can take a hell of a lot more boost than a gasser. Hell my truck runs 26psi stock!

hah, yeah, the regular crx that was modded to look like the prototype has way to many stickers on it, but it would look nice without that crap

Did you race a red Integra GSR anytime recently? My friend said he lost to a turbo deisel near Rt.1. He sad he had the truck, then it just started slowly passing him. Just wondering if it was you...lol

It may have been....Was it near Rt.1 in Elkridge? Because I usually am on Rt. 100 and Rt. 1 quite a bit.
