What is it with OZ Rally drivers, I had a very similar thing happen to me Tuesday.
I passed this OZ Rally, I wasn't going fast, just cruising slightly over the limit. This teenager with a car full of kids revs twice, downshifts, and takes off, making sure I see his phatty exhaust pipe and yellow fog lights. I laugh at him as he goes by and figure it's over, I don't race on the streets. As traffic flows I catch up to him a little later and he does the same thing. After a couple miles he's done this to me 4 times, and now I'm annoyed. So I skip my turn and keep going, hoping traffic will thin out. Traffic stays thick so I finally turn around to head home, and he follows me. I stop at a red light and he gets to it just as it turns green, so he's still rolling at 5mph or so and takes off. I'm pissed and gun it, chirp it in first and catch up to him, his GF looks over and starts yelling that I caught him, I shift into second and chirp again, look over and give a huge grin to the girl, and then I'm gone. I take the next turn at over 60mph and I don' t think he knew what hit him.
Don't these kids read car magazines anymore? I know what everything out there can do, I won't pick on a car that is way out of my class! Just seems like you should know what you're doing before you rev at somebody like that.
