RedKatanax9 said:You can get them at Mazdastuff.com for like $192+shipping. My brother has the mirror on his Tribute, I like them, convenient.
imjustagirl said:Best place to get it is Mazda, not sure if anyone carries an aftermarket style or not.... Mazda part # is 0000-8C-A07C. $236.00 USD. Personally I dont like them, they are really "bulky" compared to the regular stock one. But, its all your preference![]()

Mazda P5 driver said:All I use out of it is the dimmer. the rest is about useless. The thermomter is never right on. Can be as much as 10 degrees off. I have not once used the compass. The dimmer is THE best thing to have though. Wish we had side dimmer mirrors.
LinuxRacr said:I beg to differ on the thermometor. If you are sitting still for a while, it heats up, but once you are moving for a while, it measures the ambient temps correctly. If you leave your car out in the sun, of course it is going to read warmer, but once you start moving, it will get the ambient temps. The mirror may seem bulky, but once you have it, you won't want to go without one. I thought the same thing, but it is not that bad once it is installed.

mind you now...you said "heated". It's wrong in the winter time too.
Which it still can be off? That thing is more wrong that it is ever right. I don't see it as being a detrimental option and can easily live without it. Even though I have a garage, I know when it's not 70 and warm outside. AKA..I don't NEED a thermometer to know when it is cold or hot. I used to think it was a nice option, but when it's a piece of crap, you learn to not NEED it.
The dimming function works really well though. Not sure what kind of $$ that is worth to anyone.
