Might be trading in the P5

Will know tomorrow. Getting a 2004 Altima SE 3.5. I need something bigger and more powerful. I've always been a Nissan fan and actually had traded my Spec-V in on this P5.

I got a decent trade in on my P5, anyone interested in buying it though here in Indy? $11,400.

Good luck! sorry to hear the news. The Pathfinder Armada is pretty cool too.;)

Why not stay in the family and get the Mazda 6 wagon when it comes out. It will be a lot sportier feeling than the Altima and have much better interior materialsl. Should cost less as well. Will be slightly slower than the Altima however. Looks like the P5's big bro....

I feel ya man. I have always been a Nissan (especially Maxima) fan too. That is why I have a 2k3 Max to go with the 2k3 P5. HOLLA!

How many miles and what options do you have on your P5? Was the dealer giving you $11,400 for your trade?

I have 19,400 miles.

Auto, sunroof, basically everything but leather and polished wheels.

build quality on nissans 02 and up have been pretty bad...interior materials on the Altima are especially spartan. Ghosn did a fine job with his cost-cutting at Nissan.

the materials - poor.
the engine - marvelous (I gotta admit that the V6 is NICE)

I think the Armada is an atrocious vehicle. if you need something that large, you'd better have more than five people in the car at all times as well as towing something that's at least 10,000 pounds...otherwise, Greenpeace, PETA, and me with my "get-a-smaller-car-you-fat-bastard-before-I-beat-you-with-my-stick" stick will go medieval on your ass.

(by the way, I cannot stand Greenpeace or PETA...I'm just trying to make a point)

didnt you just get your P5 recently?

arent you going to be upside down on it?

I got mine in June and if you pay cash you aren't upside down. :D

and who said I was talking about an Armada? Not me. The build of a Nissan is great. Different strokes for different folks.

sorry to thread jack: but the mazda6 wagon just doesn't look right.. the back is too square for the rounded front. sort of like how the focus wagon looks. yack!

actually it's going to end up where I'm not trading in my P5, we are trading in my wife's Beetle. I am still going to get another car as well.

Glad to see you are losing the Beetle and not the P5. The Altima is a pretty sweet ride for the $ - my wife drove the hell out of hers and loved it (at least until the day someone tore it a new one and totalled it). ;)

Wow, what a day. My wife is getting an 04 Altima SE 3.5 and I decided to trade my car back in and get a 04 Spec-V. I had an 02 and I missed it ever since. Picking them both up tonight. I'll miss my P5 though and these forums.
