Might be heresy, but here's the 2014 Kia Rondo

It looks nice. Would probably be a good replacement for our soon to be 10 year old Vibe. But I doubt they'll bring it to the US since the last one didn't sell very well.

Yes, this is heresy indeed! KIA may have came along way with tech packages and design, but Mazda is on a whole different level than KIA when it comes to driving dynamics. If they were in the same ballpark, the KIA would be a fly ball in the infield and the Mazda would be a home run.

Interesting, but it's now even further away from the 5 design-wise than it was before. I never really saw the comparison, honestly.

The Kia just looks like a Focus to me.

On the low end, it is price competitive. It gets pricey if you want a 7 seater model. The Chevrolet Orlando LS 6 speed manual in comparison starts from $19,995, although you have to add $1,200 for air conditioning, and if you want an automatic you have to step up to the $22,495 LT trim then add $1,200 for the 6 speed auto. It tops out at $33k for an LTZ with the works. I believe the Mazda 5 here tops out at $29k.

They're comparable in that they're both relatively small cars with third rows (yes I know Rondo's third row is an option).
